50 years after the company was founded, Porsche Design, inspired by the original Chronograph I from 1972, is reviving a unique timepiece in an exclusive limited collection. The result was a precision instrument that embodies a perfect symbiosis of design competence and engineering excellence, then as now. The specific features of the historical model have been incorporated into the timeless, puristic design of the watch with great attention to detail. This applies to the dial and the crown as well as the clasp. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a 7-fold anti-reflective coating on both sides and a hard coating ensures optimum readability, while the hour indices glow in the dark thanks to luminous Superluminova. Only the high-tech, high-performance material titanium was used for the bracelet and case. Each movement is manufactured according to the latest technical standards and is equipped with a Porsche Design caliber and tested and certified for accuracy and longevity by the Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute, or COSC for short.
